Smoothed Edges for That “Just-right” Feel
Whether you’re playing seated or standing, the Gold-Edge’s hand-rolled fret and body edges deliver an amazingly comfortable playing experience. While the hand-rolling process is complex and time consuming, it gives the Gold-Edge the smooth and effortless feel you need to truly express yourself.
Beveled “Cutaway” for Comfortable Fret Access
The Gold-Edge’s most distinctive feature is its triple bevel cut, where the armrest, cutaway, and ribrest are each rounded with a jet-black bevel. The color of the bevels and the surrounding black binding contributes to the overall contrast between the sepia-toned back and sides and the blonder spruce top, but most importantly, these features make the guitar comfortable to hold and play.
“AAA” Tonewoods with Museum-quality Figuring
The Gold-Edge is crafted with flame maple back and sides to enhance low-mid richness and overall projection, and topped with solid spruce for delicate clarity. It’s an ideal tonewood combination for fingerpicking and strumming alike.
Perfect Balance for Diverse Playing Styles
The Auditorium body size is perfectly in between the large Dreadnought and the more intimate Grand Concert. This makes the Auditorium body type ideal for both strumming/flatpicking and fingerstyle playing and suits the versatile acoustic player who prefers to have one guitar to cover a variety of sounds and playing styles.

For transparent acoustic-electric tone, Gold-Edge is equipped with L.R. Baggs Anthem electronics. Combining a miniature microphone with a traditional piezo pickup, the Anthem system gives you studio-quality acoustic tone wherever you plug in.
Sonically Enhanced UV Finish for Truer Tone
The Gold-Edge’s UV finish is thinner than standard poly or nitro finishes, allowing the wood to vibrate and breathe more naturally. It also minimizes chemical interaction between the finish and the woods, which is ideal for your instrument’s longevity.
